Offboarding S3 service

Introduction

This article shows how to offboard and end the service.

Follow these steps to complete the offboarding process:

1. Ensure that all data has been securely copied or migrated to another location.

2. Delete all objects in each bucket, and then remove the buckets themselves.

3. When everything is cleaned up, email support@cloudist.se and request deletion of your namespace.

Note:
Once the final object is removed, the service cost drops to zero. If any object is protected by a retention policy (e.g., Object Lock), it must reach the end of its retention period before it can be deleted.
