Introduction
This article shows how to create a bucket with different replication settings.
Regarding Object Lock Buckets we can provide that for you, just send us a mail to support@cloudist.se. No charges you still only pay for the used storage.
Prerequisites
Cloudist S3 service enabled.
Procedure
Log in to portal.cloudist.se
Go to S3 Storage service
Click Create Bucket
When creating a bucket, selecting a specific region (SE-NORTH-1 or SE-CENTRAL-1, General - FAQ ) creates your bucket in that region only.
If there is a need to increase availability of the data, select Replicated and the bucket is replicated between SE-NORTH-1 and SE-CENTRAL-1.
Please note: It is not possible to change Region after bucket has been created. In that case, create a new bucket with desired Region and migrate the data from the old bucket to the new.
Please note: Cloudist performs no backup of data in buckets.
Bucket is now available and shown in the bucket list
