View VM aggregated virtual disk I/O

Introduction

The intention of this guide is to view aggregated virtual machine I/O usage. This will help you decide which storage policy to choose

Prerequisites

Procedure

• Log in to https://portal.cloudist.se

• Select Virtual Data Center service

  Open

  

• Select the Virtual Datacenter and click Virtual Datacenter name

  Open

  

• In Cloud Director interface, click on the three lines menu icon and select Operations Manager

• Select Metric Selector from the menu on the left of the page

• Choose the virtual machine you would like to evaluate

• Check the box for virtualDisk:Aggregate of all instances|commandsAveraged_average from the list

• Choose a date range

• Observe the virtual machine IOPS values in the graph
