Cloudist 365 Backup
Service overview
Cloudist 365 Backup provides backup for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business and Microsoft Teams items from the Microsoft Office 365 service.
The service is billed on licenses (number of users protected by Cloudist 365 Backup) consumed each month. There is no cost for activating the service and only license usage is billed. Customer can review license usage and additional job statistics in the Cloudist portal.
This service is using Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365. Cloudist operates the service, including storage and renting licenses to the service.
By activate the Cloudist 365 Backup, the customer will be able to configure and use the service.

Features
Backup for hosted Microsoft Office 365 Services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business and Microsoft Teams).
Description
- Easy to use backup service securing critical business data located in the cloud.
Solution
- Cloudist offers backup as a service for Microsoft Office 365.
- License usage is charged on a monthly basis, invoiced at the end of each month.
Features
- Customer can configure backup jobs and backup copy jobs in Veeam Backup & Replication Console to store backup data on Cloudist Cloud Connect.
- Customer pays only for users that are protected on Cloudist 365 Backup.
Service prerequisites
- Microsoft Office 365 subscription.
- Configured account with permission to perform backup and restore of objects in Microsoft Office 365.
Service dependencies
- Veeam Cloud Connect needs to be functional and accessible.
- vCloud API i SEN needs to be functional and accessible for Cloudist Cloud Connect to work (for authentication purposes).
- Cloudist portal needs to be functional and accessible to be able enable/disable the service and set up service account.

The service is delivered through Cloudist portal → 365 Backup.

Maintenance windows
Maintenance windows are scheduled the third Wednesday 06.00 CET until 12.00 CET every quarter. During maintenance window, the service might be unavailable. Downtime during maintenance windows is not included when calculating service availability.
Maintenance window notification will be sent to customer disruption email address no later than the last Wednesday prior to the maintenance window.
