Introduction

This guide is aid changing a virtual machines storage policy.

We have two storage policies to choose from:

  • AllFlash-Standard is limited to a maximum of 500 IOPS per VM

  • AllFlash-Premium is unlimited IOPS per VM

Prerequisites

Procedure

  • Select the region you would to migrate to and click on Log in to VDC

  • Click on the VDC where the virtual machine you would like to modify resides

 

  • On the Virtual Machine click on Details

 

  • Go to Hard Disks and click Edit

Select the appropriate policy from the drop down and click Save to apply the changes

  • Observe that the task has completed in the Recent Tasks panel below
