Service overview
Cloud Connect provides customers with an on-prem Veeam Backup & Replication installation cloud storage to be used as target for backup data in order to move backup data off-site. The service is billed on number of VMs protected by Cloud Connect and on average storage consumed each month.
the ability to manage their Microsoft subscriptions from the Cloudist portal. Customer can add, change quantity and suspend one or multiple licenses.
This service is developed as an extension Arrow ECS XSP portal and Microsoft´s API. Cloudist does not own, manage och operate Microsoft subscriptions/licenses. Cloudist only resells, simplifies and provides the ability for managing the subscriptions/licenses.
When you buy a subscription to Microsoft 365 for business, you sign up for a set of applications and services that you pay for on a monthly basis. The applications and services that you receive as part of your subscription depend on which product you purchased.

Description
- Cloud Connect is Backup Storage Microsoft 365 license is a monthly, per-user subscription.
Solution
- Cloudist offers backup storage as Service Provider in Veeam Backup & Replication.
- Storage usage is charged on an average daily basis and licenses on a monthly basis, invoiced at the end of each month.
Features
- Customer can configure backup jobs and backup copy jobs in Veeam Backup & Replication Console to store backup data on Cloudist Cloud Connect.
- Customer restore VMs and individual files directly from backups stored on Cloudist Cloud Connect using Veeam Backup & Replication Console.
- Customer pays only for storage used (monthly average) and the number of VMs that are protected on Cloudist Cloud Connect.
Service prerequisites
- Veeam Cloud Connect licensing is included in Veeam Availability Suite, Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam Backup Essentials with no additional licensing required.
Service dependencies
- Cloudist portal needs to be functional and accessible to be able manage, add & remove licenses
- Microsoft´s API need to be functional and accessible for Arrow´s XSP Portal API to work
- Arrow ECS XSP Portal API needs to be functional and accessible for Cloudist Microsoft 365 service to work
