Backup VMs or vApps

Introduction

The intention of this guide is to show how to add backup to virtual machines in the Cloudist Solutions VDC service.

Prerequisites

Virtual machines should be created for at least 2 hours prior before adding backup. This is for the platform to automatically discover the virtual machine.

Procedure

To backup a VM

• Log in to https://portal.cloudist.se

• Select Virtual Data Center service
  
  

  Open

  

• Select the appropriate Virtual Datacenter
  
  

  Open

  

• Click the Edit pen next to the Virtual Machine you would like to add to backup and select suitable backup policy
  
  

  Open
