Cloudist Online Backup Tenant Setup in Veeam Service Provider Console

Brief instruction on how to setup a new tenant in Veeam Service Provider Console for Cloudist Online Backup. This will describe which fields are mandatory, and preferred naming standards for resources.

Setting up the Company

In order to integrate into the portal at a later state Company Name must start with Company ID. In order to make the company name human readable, the actual name may be appended, but it must be separated from the Company ID with a space.

Example: 123456-0000 <company name>

  1. Log on to Veeam Service Provider Console with your credentials by clicking on following link:
    https://sen1-vspc-ob.cloudist.solutions/

  2. Click on Companies on the left hand side

     

  3. Click on “+New” to add a customer

     

  4. Add Company Info and under Company Name please us following format:
    <organisation number> <company name>
    Example: 123456-0000 Cloudist Solutions
    Click next

     

  5. Chose “Native” and click next

     

  6. Fill in a username and a password and click next

  7. Turn On “Cloud backup resources” and click next

     

  8. Click “+Add”

     

  9. Fill in the “Cloud repository name”
    (Repository name is not regulated in any way, but it is a good idea to name the repository in such a way, that the name include a reference to the company that owns the repository.)

    1. Fill in the quota:

      1. Quota sizes MUST be one of the following:

        • 10 GB

        • 50 GB

        • 100 GB

        • 250 GB

        • 500 GB

        • 1 TB

        • 2 TB

        • 2+ TB

          Click OK and then next

  10. Click next x2 and skip till “Billing”

  11. Chose preferred bandwidth options and click next

  12. Finish the wizard

If the configured quota falls between the ones listed above, the quota limit above the configured quota will be used for invoicing.
