We recommend that you also configure a service account in the Portal in order to authenticate VBR. This way, the Service will not be dependent on a personal account in the Portal. Make sure the account has the role “Admin” or “SuperAdmin”

Configure VBR
Make sure a suitable user account is set up. The username can be found in the Portal under Settings/Accounts. It is the information in the column Username that will be used by Veeam.
Start VBR Console
Navigate to BACKUP INFRASTRUCTURE/Service Providers in the menu on the left hand side of the UI
Click Add Provider at the top and use the following information in the guide.
- DNS name or IP address: cc01.fortlax.seCreate a new set of credentials by clicking Add…
- Username must be added in the format of <username>@<customer number>After creating a set of credentials, click Apply and review the available cloud repositories. The capacity will initially be configured to 1 TB but when capacity use will reach 90% the limit will be increased by an additional 20%. Finish the guide and Veeam will rescan the Service Provider connection.
